There is No Exchange for Experience! Steve has over 40 years in the Real Estate Business. He bought his first home in 1977 & obtained his Real Estate License a year later. He worked for Northwest Brokers Real Estate in Renton, WA, one of the oldest R.E. companies in King County, then bought the firm in 1984. Steve was also Co-founder of “The Residential New Construction Report” a research firm that concentrated on actual physical counts of single-family homes and building lot & land in all the major counties around the Puget Sound area and then in the surrounding 6 states. Steve was also co-founder of Fairwood Park Escrow, and numerous other real estate related companies. He was also instrumental in the development of over 20 new neighborhoods in the King County area.

Steve has been appointed to many governmental task force & community committees, including in 1991 he served on the first Surface Water Manual (SWM) representing the Cedar River & May Valley Basin. In 1991 he was appointed President of the Northwest Multiple Association at the ripe old age of 31.

In early 2002, Steve was a co-founder in Starfire Sports 54 acre soccer Complex in Tukwila, believing in giving back to the community is an essential gift. Starfire now services over a “Million Kids” per year!

Born and raised in the Rainier Valley area of Seattle, very poor, with 10 brother’s and sister’s, raised by a single Mother, he learned the true value of Life, Ethics & moral commitment to one’s community.

Steve currently concentrates on serving both Buyers and Seller’s in the single family homes and the Land/Lot market throughout the Puget Sound Area. There is No Exchange for Experience!

Diane - John L. Scott

The “Steve Beck Real Estate Team” has been local for over 40 years.

In the 80’s Diane was involved in the Employee Relations Dept. for PACCAR in Renton & later helped establish the Employee Relations Department for a small start-up company in Bellevue, Washington. Taking time off to raise her two small children until they were both in grade school she then started working with Steve Beck at his privately owned real estate company, Northwest Brokers in the Fairwood area of Renton, & subsequently getting her Real Estate License in 1989. During this time Diane was in charge of all processing and was instrumental in the company’s formation of the “Residential New Construction Report & Research Company” & “Fairwood Park Escrow”.

For many years she handled the Real Estate Bookkeeping, Finance’s, EM Trust Account and oversaw over 2000 R.E. transactions from the beginning to closing coordination’s & agent paid commissions. Diane took a short hiatus in 2000, to start her own company she called “Victorian Meadows” a venue for weddings in Maple Valley, WA. In 2004 Diane returned to the “Steve Beck Real Estate Team” @ John L. Scott/kms, Renton, Washington

Today, Diane handles the coordination of processing listings & sales with The Beck Team. And still does the bookkeeping for the Real Estate related companies.
